TileHub is a community for viewing and sharing board game tiles for popular games such as: HeroQuest, Warhammer Quest, Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, and many more. Upload your tiles, tag them, and share with everyone. No traditional signup is required - use a Secret User ID to manage your uploads across devices.

Getting Started

1. Set a display name (optional): Click your name (“Anonymous”) at the top to rename.
2. Create or enter your Secret User ID: Click Account → “Show me my Secret User ID” to create one, or paste an existing ID to access your library from another device.
3. Upload a tile: Click Upload Tile.

*Note: Many actions on the site will automatically generate an Anonymous User ID (Uploading, Commenting, Reporting, etc), be sure to click the "Account" button and save your User ID so that you can retain your interactions across multiple visits and devices.

To respect your privacy, we do not collect email addresses or other personal identifiable information. If you lose your User ID, there is no way to recover it and you will lose the ability to manage your tiles.

Uploading Tiles

• Image: PNG or JPG up to 3 mb in size due to storage constraints and cost.
• Grid size: Choose a preset size (e.g., 1×1, 4×4, 5×6, 8x8) or enter W×H (1–19 by 1–24). The image is automatically resized and rotated to match.
• Game(s) & Tags: Start typing to pick existing entries or add new ones. Tap Enter (or the ➕ chip on mobile) to add.
• Description: Optional context for the tile.
• Terms of Use: Checking this means you agree with the Terms of Use of TileHub, confirming that you own the tile or have permission to upload it. See our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy for more information.
• Safety: You may see a quick anti-bot check during upload.

Finding & Viewing Tiles

• Community Tiles: Browse through the feed of most recently uploaded tiles.
• Search & Filter: Use the search box for title/description/game. Use the tag selector to filter by top tags or search all tags.
• Only My Tiles: Toggle to show only tiles you have uploaded.
• Share: On a tile page, use the buttons (X, Facebook, Reddit, Pinterest, Bluesky) or copy the page link.
• Embed:Use the embed button to copy an embeddable link to use in hQuestBuilder and other apps.

Comments, Replies & Votes

• Comment: Add comments under a tile (first-time may require a simple checkbox captcha).
• Reply: Click the reply icon to respond; the form shows who you’re replying to.
• Vote: Up/down-vote comments; sort by Popular, Newest, or Oldest.

Reporting & Moderation

• Report: If you see inappropriate content, click Report. At 3 reports, a tile is hidden pending review from a moderator.
• Auto-moderation: Titles, descriptions, and comments may queue for review if flagged by filters.

Managing Your Library

• Delete your tiles: Tile owners see a trash icon on their tiles (with confirm prompt). Deleting tiles will result in the link being broken. Any users who have copied the embed link will no longer be able to see the tile.
• Cross-device: Use your Secret User ID to access or manage tiles anywhere. Keep it safe - anyone with the ID can manage your library.
